Many of them have started businesses, many are reading for prestigious contests, some have been hired by festivals to start script reading competitions! So why now?

Over the years, I've seen so much negativity in the world of screenwriting. So many people are tearing down screenplays and writing subpar coverage. I see people respond to posts where others share their dreams with 😂. It's awful. I may just be one person, but I'm going to do my best to move the needle in my corner of the world. I will show as many people as possible that having a dream is a good thing. That we all have a story inside of us.

What if I write screenplays? I highly recommend the Career Creation Masterclass for writers. You will see how to write a screenplay that will get past a reader! Once you understand how to break down a story, writing one is much easier. Learning screenplay analysis from a reader's perspective allows you to see why people choose certain films to develop. I have had many rewriting gigs based on the relationships I made as a story expert. The current film I've been commissioned to write all started because the producer was someone I worked with as a story consultant on a previous project. 

But what if I live in (insert hometown here)?

Producers and writers need good story experts - they don't care where the expert lives. There also might be opportunities right under your nose. Many communities have screenplay festivals, competitions, and conferences, and if you're a native English speaker in a country where English isn't the primary language, there will be a wealth of opportunities for you.

What if I don’t have time? As your coach and mentor, I will challenge you on that. We all have the same amount of time. It’s up to you to use the time to do the things that are important to you. You have to value the things you want. If you want to know what you value, look at what you did today, and yesterday, and the day before that. I want to get you to where you are doing things to build your career every day. Even if it’s just for a few minutes. There are people who are changing the world with the time that they have.
